Suppose they all must think I’m crazy now
I was not the same after they found me
Laying in the dirt, gazing heavenward
Entrusting myself to sentinel trees
No notice of passing minutes or hours
Christened by stillness with a soundless name
Erased, except for the pulse in my veins
