Lungs and body seize,

Uncharted walls consume me,

Wash me or drown me.

Dust settles to rest,

New air fills my lungs now breath,

Suffocating me.

Brow begins to sweat,

Red and yellow tones aflame,

Warm me or burn me.

Body comes back to,

Earth is there to meet with me,

Rest or bury me.

About the Creator

Desiree Wetz

I have been intrigued with writing since I was twelve years old. At first, it was poetry but then in morphed into a love of fiction, fantasy, and adventure. When I'm not writing stories, I am running wild with my family.
