Tasty children upon all hallows eve

Keep the young ones home tonight

Afoot is a plot most foul, terrible and trite

Concocted to dine and eat with might

All young souls as they go a tricking

A plan most dastardly and disgusting

Upon the witches hearth is now discussing

Ways to savor, boil and bubble

Little trick and treaters with no trouble

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Halloween night approaches closer and closer
All the witches and warlocks lick their lips with glee
Little delicious snacks of children, tasty as can be
Laughingly to the cauldron comes, oh! such a poser
One juicy devil, dressed to tease, scare and frighten
Werewolves howl, the pack yet thicken and tighten
Every child a feast shall be, tender juicy and oh so tasty
Ever nearer they approach, fairies, devils, foxes, some look pasty
Now to us hasten, the broth awaits, lovely lovelies, we shall feast!
No one listened, parents, guardians, off they sent
Their lovely lovelies dressed as creatures, all hell bent
On frolic, fun, a monstrous night of scary goodness
For sweets of every enjoyment awaits tiny hands of madness
He he he he, ho ho ho ho, hum hum hum, fe fo fum
Chants the witches, cauldron bubbles, here they come
From nowhere jumps in front, a large monster of a spider
Smelling so very strongly of plum and rotten cider
Run, children, run, run away home to your beds
Witches and warlocks hatched a cruel plot for heads
Of little tots all dressed as scary monstrous beasts
Run, run back home, don't be meat for their feasts
Twas Halloween, no one listened, must be part of the fun
Into the cauldron went little ghosts and ghouls fore they could run
But something the evil witches and ugly warlocks did not fathom
The cauldron had a hole in it's bottom, yes I said bottom
The monstrously dressed children fell completely through
Into a hole that led magically to their beds tis really true
The spider, magical and true, had saved the children not few
Parents did not listen, neither did children if they only knew
This Halloween night the spider saved
What of the next? Oh! Poor spider got caught in his cave
For the witches and warlocks needed meat for their fare
Next Halloween, listen when warned and be aware
Of evil witches and such who wait for children with nary a care
Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
