WINTER26
A poem about the final semester of my undergrad
I really should have more gratitude
it’s just the overwhelm and nausea
the cold
clockworks of Google Calendar—
Deus ex Discord.
and the thought-drifts of home;
not Hall.
crunchy green salads;
not mushy soup beans.
!! don’t forget about !!
~menial side quests~
I try to levitate
to a place of breathy acceptance
only to be slushed into the gutter
with the rest of the dreamers
we chant mantras in our common tongue;
only three more months
only three more months
only three more months
of fun
