Winter's Whisper

A Tale of Frost and Warmth

Beneath the sky of twilight’s hue,

The forest sleeps in silver blue.

Its branches bow with snowy grace,

A crystal crown for nature’s face.

A cabin rests where stillness hums,

Its golden light like fire drums.

Through frosted panes, a world within,

Of warmth, of love, where dreams begin.

Snowflakes drift, a fleeting choir,

Their songs alight on icy spires.

Each flake unique, a starry bloom,

A fleeting life in winter’s womb.

The frozen pond, a mirrored glass,

Reflects the trees, the clouds that pass.

Its surface smooth, a world contained,

Yet deep below, life still remains.

The air is sharp, yet soft with peace,

A moment’s hush, a soul’s release.

For winter speaks in tones so clear,

Of endings sweet and new years near.

And as the dusk gives way to night,

The stars take hold, a frosted light.

The world, adorned in quiet cheer,

Awaits the dawn of a brightened year.
