The frosty air
Reminding us the time is near
When darkness wraps us in it’s sad embrace
The chilled air reminds us
That all we have is meaningless
Without the warmth of life what are we
Winter approaches us
Reaching out for a cold freezing hug
Whispering in our ears
To remind us it is near
