Winter's Blast

Winter's Blast

Can you see it?

Can you feel it?

That's right,

It's winter now,

All I can see is the frost collecting on the windows,

All I feel is my nose growing cold,

My cheeks becoming a deep red,

My lips quivering,

Once warm hands,

becoming cold and shaking,

Though many layers,

I can feel my feet freezing,

Winter is here,

The blast of the winter cold,

Piercing through the heat,

Even with a hot fire going,

The cold is nipping at my feet,

slowly my feet become numb,

As the cold brisk air,

slowly rushs towards my hands,

No matter how many times,

I blow on my hands,

They still keep freezing and become numb,

The winter blast,

has now taken over,

Where I am now,

There's no stopping the cold,

It's already entered into my body,

Creating shiveres and chattering teeth,

My nose once warm,

So cold like ice,

As the winter blast,

and the heat of this place,

Create a dance and clash into each other,

at the center of my body,

Creating a perfect bond,

of warmth and coolness
