Winter Poem

Winter snow falling down

Snowflakes ice as cold

One touched a dog and another touched a kid

Fire roaring in the red house

People laughing and joying

Hot chocolate steaming in the air

Warm peppermint, gingerbread cookies

Smell of cinnamon and winter greens

The warmth from one another

The sound of music and jingle bells

Stomping on the soft, covered floor

Neighing and muffling of the white covered horses

Iced breath and red noses

Kids falling in the cold snow

A snowball fight in the air

And a standing snowman, with his top black hat and red bow
