Wings of Oblivion

Unwelcoming, Unapproachable, Unlovable

Screams of regret hang at the lobe of my ear

Inaudible to an angel with no ties to the living

Listening for something to acknowledge its existence

Echoing only the onslaught of fear

Never seek a haven so unforgiving

Cast from all that matters at an infinite distance

Expecting three words you will never again hear

sad poetry
