Windows Full of Sky

Windows full of sky today,

Clouds drifting, slow and grey,

But even grey, feels soft and wide,

With quiet light, held inside.

You sit and watch, the shapes unfold,

Stories whispered, never told,

Each cloud passing, with its grace,

Leaving calm, in empty space.

The world feels paused, just for you,

Wrapped in silver, soft and true,

No sharp edges, nothing loud,

Just a thinking, gentle cloud.

Rain may fall, or drift away,

Stillness holds, throughout the day,

Nothing lost, nothing wrong,

Even quiet, feels strong.

You find comfort, in this view,

Simple skies, in changing hue,

Not needing sun, to feel at peace,

Just letting restless thoughts release.

Time moves on, but not too fast,

Each moment shaped, to gently last,

Held in light, both soft and deep,

A calm the heart, can safely keep.

Outside shifts, but you remain,

Steady through the passing rain,

Finding beauty, in the plain,

Where nothing needs to entertain.

And in that stillness, something grows,

A quiet strength, that softly shows,

Windows full of sky remain,

A peaceful place, inside your brain.
