Wind blows

the ancestors speak

wind blows

wispers

of my elders

to my ears.

grandfathers

stand

and stare

with a knowing smile.

Grandmothers

approach

wide open arms

acceptance and care.

Parents

breathe

A sigh of relief

As family patterns shatter.

Myself

pushing

to move forward

beyond their wildest dreams.
