Forgotten was the garden where we learned to bloom,
Among the dying roses, I still searched for you.
Leaves covered the footsteps leading away from me,
Love was the season we were never meant to keep.
Even the moon looked away when you chose to leave,
Nothing hurts like a heart that still believes.
