Wild Horses

They run in fear of the unknown

Wild Horses

Wild horses thunder through the night,

A blur of movement, hearts alight.

In fields of dark, they cannot stay,

They race with fear, they race away.

The wind it howls, the earth it shakes,

Through endless night, no dawn awakes.

Their eyes are wide, but still they run,

Chasing a freedom never won.

The moon above, a ghostly glow,

Guides them to places they don’t know.

With every stride, the ground it quakes,

A path unknown, a road that breaks.

Through unknown lands, they charge ahead,

A journey lost, but never dead.

The night is endless, but still they fight,

Wild horses racing through the night.
