Why this Seeking?

traumatic birth

What is my birth mythology?

The stranger

I am here,

seeking to be recognized

by no

significant other.

Mother,

Sister,

they are all I have.

Sister,

womb sharing,

entwined,

she brings me peace.

I am alone.

Mother

fell asleep.

What dreams did come

to guide me in?

Chasing sister’s afterbirth,

feeling left behind,

forgotten,

I slipped through the doors.

As the bell was ringing

to ascend

to the next level,

I slipped through,

unnoticed.

And go untouched,

as a ghost,

seeking out those who

believe in my existence,

wanting to tell everyone,

I am real.
