Love.
That four-letter
word;
it's not that big a deal,
isn't it?
I mean..
everyone loves..
everyone has feelings
for one another..
everyone falls in love
with that one person
that makes them feel
as if they're floating
on top of a cloud.
So,
what's up with the
ones I love?
Boys and Girls,
they can go around
kissing..
being together..
without fear of
someone coming up to
call them
disgusting..
revolting..
nauseating.
So,
what's up with the
ones I love?
If a man or woman
can make out in public,
why can't I be open
about the ones that
I'm in love with?
Why do I have to
be ashamed
of who I am;
of who I love;
of who I want to
be with?
Why do I have
to make an
announcement
to let others know
who I love,
or who I want to be?
Love;
that four-lettered word.
It means so much
for such a little word.
Love.
It's really not that big
of a deal,
is it?
Why do I have to
break the news
about who I am
in fear that I'll
upset someone;
in fear that I'll
betray someone
who claimed to have
love me just moments
before.
Why does it matter;
loving those of the same sex;
why's it have to matter
that I feel the same attraction
to those of my sex
than another may have
towards a different sex?
Why's it matter that
I want to be with those
who look like me?
Why do so many
want to fight so
damn hard
against something
just because it looks
"different"?
Love;
it's not disgusting..
revolting..
nauseating.
It's love;
that four-lettered word
that everyone has
experienced
at least one time
during their life.
Love.
It's something
everyone
deserves to have
experienced;
no matter who
they feel it for.
Love.
