Why does my mind keep dwelling on you?

Why do I sometimes wake up and when I can finally connect with my inner self, just being in open space, my mind always turns to you, as if I feel that you might be thinking or wondering about my path?

Why do I feel that in the end nothing matters anymore, because the past was the past and is gone, so the new present can always arise from Yin and Yang as Oneness, but I still walk in the freedom of my inner self so as not to lose myself over and over again along with all the screaming rest...
