Why Do You Have Bad Days?

Living with Anxiety and Depression

She woke up with such happiness

She woke up with so much energy

She rarely wakes up feeling so good.

She woke up to your back towards her

She woke up to a mess on the floor

She woke up to the puppy misbehaving

But that's okay because she got to sleep in for the first time in a long time.

She woke up to no good morning except from her dogs and cats,

but she made sure you woke up to a good morning from her and your many pets.

No kisses were given or received, but that's okay because you made her coffee when she asked.

You ignored her again

She was so excited to tell you everything on her mind

It's okay, it was her fault for being too quiet.

You didn't notice that she stopped talking.

All you cared about was your episode ending, giving quick kisses.

You then left.

You didn't hear or acknowledge her texts she sent you when crying.

"Guess who's getting in shit for no reason! Hi. That's me."

"Kill me."

"I'm done."

It's okay because she never said she needs you.

You never noticed she lost all that energy

even when she asked you to cuddle and nap

or

when she didn't want to go to the store with you

or

when she napped without you.

You didn't hear her crying when you were in the same room as her

The dogs were there for her, they kissed away her tears

You sat at the table when you should've sat with her.

Finally, you asked her "what's wrong" because according to you, you can tell...

DID MY TEXTS. DID MY SIGNALS GET LOST IN THE SPACE BETWEEN US?

OR

DID YOU NOT NOTICE. DID YOU NOT CARE BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO FUCKING BUSY?
