Why choose a meager wage
Who would embrace destitution, When prosperity is their resolution?
Who, in their right mind, would ever dare,
To settle for less, when more is to share,
Why choose a meager wage, unaware,
When a fortune awaits, beyond compare?
Amidst the clamor of the world's cries,
Who will choose to stay by one's side?
When multitudes await a helping hand,
Who will choose to be a friend?
So let us embrace a compassionate way,
Even if society may lead us astray.
For in the depths of humility and care,
We find a life that's truly rare.
So, Let's take the road that is paved with care,
For those in need, burdened with despair.
To the marginalized, we extend our hand,
In their struggles, we strive to understand.
The poem emphasizes the importance of choosing compassion and empathy over selfishness and indifference. It encourages individuals to strive for more and not settle for less, as there is a fortune to be found in sharing and helping others.
