😧😧😧

Closing time is such a bore.

I hate staying late, cleaning up the mall's liquor store.

Somebody has to do it, I chant inside my head.

Man, I really miss my bed,

Better finish my chores,

Otherwise, I'll be stuck here all night.

😧😧😧

As I stocked the shelves, something felt off.

There was a sudden gust of air, followed by a cough.

"Who's there?" I shout

Silence. I scoff.

Ridiculous teens, playing a stupid prank.

Suddenly, the air turned rank.

😧😧😧

Foul and rotten it was,

I stopped stocking because,

Somebody was with me!

"Who's there?" I roar, swinging around a broom.

A box flew across the room!

What the hell did I just see?

😧😧😧
