Who burns for perfection?

Who burns for the perfection of paper?

With a passion that cannot be tamed,

Their love for the written word is greater

Than any industry or fame.

The sound of ink flowing onto a sheet

Brings utter joy to their heart,

And the way words coalesce and meet

Is an art form they cannot depart.

They labor over every punctuation

And each letter must be just so,

For to them, the written communication

Must be flawless from head to toe.

Their devotion to this craft is rare,

For many would not understand

Why anyone would choose to care

About paper that ends up in hand.

But this person, who burns for the perfection

Of paper, will never cease to strive,

For the written word is their true affection,

And it keeps them forever alive.
