Who are You?

Poetry from an Estranged Mind

Who are you?

What are you? Are you a monster?

Or just another imposter?

What is it that’s inside of me?

What is it you’re trying to be?

I’ve seen through your eyes

All the sad goodbyes

Darkness closes in

Remember who’s within

How is it a sin

To be who you’ve always been

Hecate’s magic fades

Wake up and see your deeds

Sleeping in our hearts

Down in the deep dark

Can you hear it bark?

Growing and prowling

Looking for the next starling

What is it that’s inside us?

That tells us to cuss

Our silent companion

But oh, are we the minion
