Who am I?
Depends on the Mood and the Moment
Hate, intolerance
have NO place in me.
Cherry-colored love
runs through me down
to the tips of my toes.
I am a firebird,
an eagle, a drag queen,
depends on the mood and the moment.
Soft, pliable as colorful clay,
hard as a diamond.
Hot,
when sharp rays
pierce my edges,
I bristle with
the radiant light.
Reveling
in my red vigor and
orange of hope.
Golden yellow promise,
emerald green of luck,
indigo rupture,
and violet of desire.
See me.
I am
defiant and proud,
rock my heels,
swinging my hips.
Now, please,
turn up
the volume.
Let's dance!
Let's dance!
