Poem.

La condition humaine 1933 René Magritte

Ah've bin thinking

As Ah sit an' as Ah walk

When the moonlight

Hangs above us

Or when the sun

Blesses us

-

An' we feel those

Pangs o' concern

An' creeping, clawin'

Fear an' panic

Tae turn or no tae turn

That is the question

-

Schrödinger

had a cat

A normal cat

In a box

Alive or deid

How dae we ken

Unless we lift the lid

See fir oorselves

-

It's easy tae forget, ye see,

Whit is behin' ye

Is behin' ye

Because

Because

Yer moving forward

-

It's passed an' past

An' if it isnae

It will remain there

+

If ye turn 'roon

Will it make it manifest?

-

Perhaps then it is this truth

Ye need tae hawd ontae

-

If ye never turn 'roon,

It's both there

An' no there
