Upon a canvas of gray and mist,
The rain descends with a gentle twist.
A dance of droplets in the air,
A soothing melody beyond compare.
The world adorned in liquid grace,
As raindrops kiss each upturned face.
A symphony of pattering on leaves,
A moment of solace that the heart believes.
The city streets, a glistening scene,
Reflecting lights in a shimmering sheen.
Umbrellas bloom like flowers in bloom,
A kaleidoscope of colors in the gloom.
The rhythm of rain, a lullaby,
As nature weeps from the sky so high.
A cleansing touch upon the earth,
A renewal of life, a rebirth.
In the quiet hush of a rainy day,
The worries and cares seem to drift away.
A chance to pause, to dream, to be,
Lost in the rain's sweet reverie.
So let the raindrops gently fall,
A reminder of nature's wondrous call.
A day to cherish, to embrace the gray,
For rain's beauty will never fade away.

DARKNESS
The lights are out, doors are shut close, it's peaceful and quiet tonight in this neighbourhood as families retire to sleep. I'm sitting outside my house, looking up to the sky and beholding the beauty of this glorious night. The wind is blowing, trees are swaying as somewhere deep inside their leaves storage of starch is taking place, especially in my mangoe tree at my backyard.
