I’m sorry, my friends,
I’m sorry, my family,
I’m sorry, my sister,
And to the loves I’ve lost
I’m sorry......
I’ve reached the end of my road,
Weighed down by a pain
I cannot name.
These thoughts, so dark,
Circle like shadows,
And I’m failing.
I wish I were stronger,
But this time
I don’t know if I can be.
I’m tired,
And I don’t want to be here,
Caught in this endless ache.
There’s not much I can do,
Not much I can offer.
I feel so low,
And the climb ahead
Feels impossible....
My mind is a storm,
My body, a battlefield.
The trauma lingers,
A weight too heavy to bear.
To face it feels insurmountable.
I love you all,
But I don’t know if I can do this.
I’m losing myself,
Drowning in bottles,
Fading into the trees.
I’m lost
Scattered into pieces.
I need help,
But what can help me?
I’m trying,
I’m doing my best.
But even my best
Falls short of a single step forward.
God, I’m tired.
