Whispers of Hope

A lifeguard stands watch, day by day

Ready to jump in, without delay

A savior of life, a hero indeed

Ever watchful, always in need

The waves may crash, the tides may turn

But the lifeguard stays focused, never to spurn

With trained eyes, he scans the sea

To spot any danger that may be

He's the first to act when someone's in trouble

A swimmer in distress, he'll quickly double

And if someone's lost, he'll go the distance

To bring them back to safety, with utmost persistence

The lifeguard's job is never done

For he knows that lives depend on him

So he stands watch, day after day

To keep us safe, in every way

We thank you, lifeguard, for all you do

For your bravery, your courage, your fortitude

You're the guardian of our lives, the one we trust

The lifeguard, our hero, in whom we must.
