Whispers in the Night

A tale of lost cat

By CrissziaPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Once a companion, soft purrs by the fire,

Now vanished, lost in the night's attire.

Whiskers twitching, in search of a home,

The lost cat roams, no longer known.

Through moonlit alleys, it silently treads,

Paws on cobblestones, where it treads.

Eyes filled with longing, a haunting gaze,

Yearning for familiar hands and gentle praise.

But hope lingers, like a distant meow,

Guiding the lost cat, somehow, somewhow.

In the tapestry of fate, paths may align,

And the lost cat shall find its way, in time.

Till then, we'll listen for its soft, plaintive cry,

A beacon of hope, as the nights drift by.

For the lost cat, a prayer we send,

That it finds its way, back home in the end.
