Whispers

Who Listens?

By Vern BirdPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

Whispers in the night.

Said quietly to myself.

Not wrong or right.

Urging my own self.

Others needs are great.

Mine are small.

Those that can relate.

Will move all.

Whispers that will come.

From you and you.

Till Kingdom come.

In all that we do.

Whispers for help.

Always raise hope.

Here comes help.

Just over the slope.

Who will listen?

Those who care.

Will they hasten?

Those who dare.

When comes no one.

Hope will wane.

Despair to everyone.

All was in vain.

Oddly, someday.

We look around.

All of the way.

With total astound.

It will hit you.

No one heard.

It was just you.

As you feared.

YOU must do.

Who will listen?

If NOT you?

Who will hasten?

If NOT you?

I write with Heart.

From deep within.

I do my part.

For ALL to win.

If all could hear.

My slight whispers.

To react without fear.

Louden YOUR whispers.

Raise your voice,

Let ALL know.

This IS the choice.

Say Yes or NO.

Now is the time.

Before it is you.

In this crime.

Now time to do.

Whispers on who next?

You or me.

Next to be vexxed.

AND they will be.

Speak NOW.

Do NOT whisper.

Stand together NOW.

Be a resister.

Enter not THEIR door.

Do not cross that line.

Now and foreverMORE.

And the world will be fine.
