Whispers Between Worlds

Between Us and You

By Karima SH.Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

Softly, I lay my hand upon thy weary breast,

In every throb, I am the torment thou dost confess,

Like a dagger, I cleave through the marrow of thy soul,

Each tear thou weepest, I gather in a spectral bowl,

Noise doth vanish, and I am the stillness thou dost seek,

Closer, in the tempest, I am the grace that makes thee weak,

Eternally, I am the veil 'twixt thee and the world forlorn.
