Whimsical Wanderings

Limericks of seasons

By Whimsical Wanderer Published 2 years ago • 1 min read
Tree holding the sunset

I was walking through thick clouds

When suddenly I heard aloud

Voices from the spirit trees

Telling me their absurdities

That's when running was allowed

----

Meandering paths light by sun

Is always gloriously fun

Yet in the shade

One sees the glades

And that's when rays are spun

-----

Trudging through layers of snow

I must find the way to go

I must get some help

Deer me, there's an elk

All I must do is follow

---

I spring into every step

with wholehearted loving pep

Dance in the meadow

Feeling no sorrow

I spring into every step
