Many people are jumping on the bandwagon of writing where they were on September 11th, 2001, when the terrible tragedy occurred. Since I haven't done so in the past, I figured why not write a poem?

Enjoy!

Where was I? Nine years old, watching Stuart Little on my parent's bed.

Dad walked in and switched it to the news instead.

"We'll watch it later honey, something awful happened!"

Mom held my brother and I close,

As we watched the TV, where the violence and flames arose,

Quietly, Dad stood there, deeply saddened.
