Only with a calm mind can one hear one's own heart; only with a clear mind can one see the true nature of all things.

With a tranquil and undisturbed mind, all things are naturally reflected.

When the mind is utterly still, a moment becomes eternity.

The wind pursued the leaf, promising to take it to see the wonderful world outside.

The leaf hesitated, seeking the tree's opinion.

The tree said: "If you don't leave, I won't abandon you."

One day, the leaf was moved by the wind and chose to drift away with it.

At the moment of departure, the leaf asked the tree: "Why didn't you try to keep me?"

The tree said: "There are more than just you in this world."

The leaf then asked the wind: "Why did you pursue me?"

The wind sincerely replied: "Because no two leaves are the same."

The leaf fell silent. Was it that the tree didn't understand love, or that the wind was too persistent?

The tree asked the leaf: "Why are you leaving?"

The leaf happily said: "Because I want to see the outside world."

In truth, the tree loved the leaf deeply, and to fulfill the leaf's wish, it chose not to hold it back.

The wind asked the leaf: "Why are you coming with me?"

The leaf said joyfully: "Because you gave me dreams and made them come true."

As the leaf curiously looked out at the world, the wind stopped.

The leaf fell to the ground, and an oncoming car crushed it.

The tree was heartbroken; it regretted not holding onto the leaf, not clinging to it tightly.

The wind continued to blow, showing no sadness, for it thought: "I fulfilled your desires, and you must pay an equal, or even greater, price."

Was the leaf too ungrateful, or was the wind too heartless?

We are all like this; we often realize, only after a long time when there is no turning back, that what we willingly gave up can never be found again.

If the heart is unmoved, what can the wind do? Only with a calm heart can one hear its own voice; only with a clear heart can one see the true nature of all things.

What we are unwilling to let go of is often not worth cherishing.

What we desperately pursue is often not what life truly needs.

Life's pace is often too hurried, so we must learn to stop and laugh at the changing world, sit quietly to appreciate the blooming flowers, calm our minds like the sea, and settle down to observe the world with serenity.

With a calm and undisturbed mind, all things are naturally reflected; with a tranquil and still heart, a moment becomes eternity.

Don't let life be defeated by your mood.

Mood isn't everything in life, but it can influence everything.

A good mood makes everything bright; a bad mood throws everything into chaos.

Live your life quietly—if your heart is unmoved, what can the wind do?

If you remain unharmed within, the years will pass in peace.
