Where Sky Meets Stone

An aesthetic poem capturing the quiet beauty of sunset draped over city buildings

By mitty anegoPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Golden spill across glass and stone,

Sky blushes in hues softly grown.

Steel giants shimmer, touched by flame,

Silent in dusk, yet never the same.

Windows catch fire in amber light,

Shadows stretch long into coming night.

Lines and corners, crisp and still,

Bathed in warmth, time seems to still.

Clouds drift slow in painted grace,

Each frame a moment, no need to chase.

A hush descends where colors bleed,

No voice, no rush, no urgent need.

Sun sinks low behind the crown,

City sighs, the day winds down.

Beauty rests in edge and glow,

Where sky meets skyline, soft and slow.
