Where pain falls after felt,

Hollow, sagged and small.

When all chill is made to melt,

And no heart remains at all.

-

Where streams of rage already dense,

And snowflakes bite the warmth they give.

When tranquil gold turns thick and tense,

And life itself forgets to live.

-

Where hope and past are one and same,

Stampeded echoes of peace, a gift.

Strangers seeking a useful name,

Within a soul no joy can lift.

-

Now tears have shamed in their own faith,

And not a wisp of childhood would stay.

Light how feared now more than safe,

Now all of man must run away.

Stream of Consciousnesssad poetry
