The security of familiarity, a place of comfort to confide,

Of all the long years endured without a message sent,

Your presence is a joy with all such time, well spent,

Dearest love, deepest treasure, hush your anxious heart,

Meekest dove, price without measure, uplift your head to start,

Mourning in the downcast while you endure the pouring rain,

The shadows of uncertainty to cause such tragic pain!

Dwelling place, dwelling place, where my heart still, would yearn,

The understanding of your intent, a willingness to learn,

Of all things I could desire, and surely have it too,

My affections are with one alone, my heart belongs, to you…
