Where Have They Gone?
And where will we go? A parody of the song in the video below.
I signed up in November 2051
Thinking I'd write some stories here and have some fun
And now I can't help wondering just what you've done.
Oh, no.
Oh, no!
You took away our links to help we held so dear
The humans with a welcome, sympathetic ear.
You've left us dangling after a kick in the rear,
You know?
You know.
What happened to them?
We felt we knew them!
Vocal killed off their own support team
Leaving us here to flounder and scream.
It must be just some sort of bad dream.
No, no, uh uh, oh,no!
What do we do with all this creativity
When things go wrong and there's no answer we can see?
How do we cope? There's no hope for humanity.
We're doomed.
We're doomed.
We'd protest, but there's no one there to hear our pleas.
Where is the team that helped to put our minds at ease
When we'd exhausted other possibilities?
They need exhumed!
They need exhumed!
It's existential.
They were essential!
Vocal killed off their own support team
Leaving us here to flounder and scream.
Vocal's the crop and they are the cream!
Let's go! Uh, huh, ah, oh!
So, here we are, creators you've abandoned thus.
Unable to report, retort, or make a fuss,
And where would Vocal be if there were none of us
By choice?
By choice.
Perhaps we're outgrown, you've simply amassed so much
You can afford to leave us and stay out of touch?
Remember, even if you're thinking such,
Our voice.
Our voice!
Don't dare to doubt it,
For we will shout it:
Vocal killed off their own support team
Leaving us here to flounder and scream.
Without support, you'll soon lose the dream.
We've been here for you,
But we don't have to.
You know, oh, oh, oh, oh.
It's so, oh, oh, oh, oh!
Please don't forget to
and if you like what you read, please
