Where can I find Love?

Among the verdant hills and sylvan glades,

A tragedy unfolds, a tale of shades,

Two communities entwined in wrath's cruel dance,

Greed and pride, a fatal circumstance.

Once neighbors, friends, in harmony they dwelt,

But now, division's venom has been dealt,

In the name of differences, they fight,

Blind to the bonds that once held them tight.

The streets now echo with a mournful cry,

As people's hearts turn cold, compassion dies,

Houses razed, properties turned to ash,

Humanity's fall, a devastating crash.

Oh, women fair, their innocence betrayed,

In the name of hate, their souls degrade,

Assaulted, violated, their spirits torn,

By darkness' grasp, they're left forlorn.

We speak of love, but love's a distant dream,

A mirage in this desert, it may seem,

A world so cold, devoid of tender care,

A place where empathy is all too rare.

Yet, gaze upon the heavens' arching dome,

And ponder this, as life's fleeting loam,

Under the same sun, we all abide,

Beneath one moon, together we reside.

The air we breathe, a common thread we share,

So why, then, must we treat each other with despair?

Are we not kin, bound by our human birth?

Why not seek unity and peace on Earth?

Alas! Our hubris blinds us to the truth,

We're but mere dust, and time is ruth,

We waste our days in futile strife,

While love, the key, eludes our grasp in life.

Let us unite, cast aside the hate,

Embrace the love that can truly elevate,

For in this fragile world, we must strive,

To learn to live as one, to love, and to survive.
