It was love and not time that flew away in moments

I was once afraid that I might fall in LOVE

And then I did

When I fell in love, I feared I might fail in love

Why are all my fears suddenly becoming true?

I failed, I failed the only thing I loved in this world

No one can understand my pain

Not even him

I wanted to be by his side so bad

Maybe he didn’t want it

I know he’s hurt by the cruel world

This world isn’t fair to him

But I was

And I was punished for the cruelty of the world

Maybe I was too available

Or maybe I loved him too hard

They say too much of anything is bad

But, my love? It was only sweet

It was only pure and strong

But maybe he had diabetes

He too once loved me so much

He said he was afraid of losing me

Maybe he conquered his fear?

Who knows if he ain’t afraid of losing me anymore?

Hey, dear heart of mine– Why are you so fragile?

Why can’t you become as brave as him?

But, my weak heart, I know how strong you were

When he silently quit a 100 times on me

And you stood by, waiting for him

Oh, I know how patient you were

When he left you unchecked

When he knew it hurt you and he closed his eyes

When he could still see through but he left it unnoticed

I know how strong you were to realize every bit of it and still let go

And I’m proud of you for it

I still can’t figure out how you became that strong?

Was it because the pain couldn’t be exhaled so you inhaled it?

Or was it because no other place in the universe could hold onto it

So you decided to secure it into yourself and let the universe be free

Oh, I bow down to your courage and strength

I know it might hurt you but I’ll say it anyways

‘Cause you’re the only one I can let my burden out on

I know you’re inside of me O my heart!

But, you’re something so mighty, I don’t even compare to you

You are so forgiving, you forgave at the time when it hurt you the most

You rescued their pain when you yourself were burning in the fire

How could you be so mean to yourself?

You always let them stab you and still return their knife cleaning off your blood

Is this what LOVE is?

I thought it’s something that gives you peace

I always gave them everything they needed

No one gave me a shoulder when my eyes were raining

It has always been you my dear heart

I placed my pain in your lap ‘cause I knew no one else could bear the weight of it

You seem very unbreakable to me, my heart

You have carried the weight of so many dead words

And you still stand like you were never called useless

How? Just tell me how you could do it?

Your size doesn’t look like it can store a lot

Yet you somehow carried all the unlovable actions the did to you

And look at you still hugging after they come to you for a 100th time after breaking you

My dear heart, My love was so expensive

No one could ever buy it

It was so pure and so selfless

But, I myself sold it to him

And I sold it for free… He didn’t even ask if he had to pay

Now it’s in his cell, and my love is a prisoner

It’s now bearing the punishment of a crime that it’d never commit

And they say, LOVE can’t be bought or sold

How do I tell you that I’m living my ONLY fear!

My only fear was failing my LOVE and I’m living it

I thought dying of failed love was the hardest

But turns out living one is even worse

'Cause when you bear what's unbearable

You become unbreakable

Maybe that's what I've become

A/N:

Don’t worry, I wrote it after watching a heartbreaking movie. So it makes sense.
