We had kings, scholars, aristocrats.
There was no poverty as we had not wasted resources.
The wars we fought were a hierarchical battle,
Of the food chain.
The herbivore dinosaurs stuck to themselves,
They were large and ate tree leaves, marigolds and stayed
To themselves.
The smaller dinosaurs like the scholarly Troodon,
Ate mice and rodents.
Lithe and fast Troodon avoided predators,
Its relative the Velociraptor hunted the smaller herbivores,
Yet often at a price.
For the larger dinosaurs like the Tarbosaurus Bataar,
And of course the King-T Rex wanted the meals.
The Mayasaurus would protect its children,
Like now the female species deadlier than the male.
We heard an Asteroid destroyed them,
These terrible lizards derivred from thecodonts.
The world changed temperatures giving rise to new life.
Now we humans who are so adamant on fighting each other,
Are we next?
