When the World Falls Quiet

A Love That Speaks Without Sound

By Samara Pollyana Published 3 months ago 1 min read

When the world falls quiet after rain,

And silver clouds drift soft and slow,

I find your name in every breeze,

In every place the wildflowers grow.

You are not merely in my thoughts;

You are the rhythm beneath them all,

The steady light behind my days,

The voice that answers every call.

If time should gather all its years
And place them gently at our feet,

I'd walk them all beside your heart,

To make each fleeting moment sweet.

For love is not a burning star
That vanishes before the dawn;

It is the sun that rises still,

Long after darker nights are gone.
