The stars lean close when silence grows,
To hear the thoughts the daylight froze.
I speak to moons that never fade,
Of dreams I built, and ones I laid.
The wind replies in soft disguise,
It carries truth the heart denies.
Each echo hums of joy and pain,
Until the night learns my name.
I ask the dark what light can’t show,
Why loss must come for souls to grow.
It answers not, but folds me tight—
And I forgive the endless night.
For even shadows have their grace,
A quiet home, a vast embrace.
And though the sun will rise the same,
The night will still recall my name.
