When She Left Me

When she left me, my world fell apart,

A piece of me shattered, a hole in my heart,

The love we shared, now just a memory,

A pain that I bear, a burden so heavy.

I thought our love was meant to last,

But now I see it was just in the past,

She walked away without a backward glance,

Leaving me alone to pick up the chance.

The days are long, the nights so cold,

The emptiness inside, too much to hold,

The memories of her, now a bitter pill,

A pain that I can't seem to fulfill.

I tried to move on, to find a new start,

But the thought of her, still tears me apart,

The love we shared, now just a ghost,

A fading memory, of what we loved the most.

When she left me, I thought I would die,

But I know I'll find a way to get by,

I'll pick up the pieces, and start anew,

And find a love that will be true.

But for now, I'll just hold on,

And hope that the pain will soon be gone,

And when I look back, I'll see,

That she left me, but I am free.
