when jupiter calls

he brings dreams

By Jordan ParkinsonPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

I see Jupiter in my dreams

and it never made sense

until I knew

he is the god

who remembers

promises.

He comes in the form

of all my shattered pasts

and brings me

memories

I sent away with the tide.

I hold their sharp edges

in my hands.

He knows I did not

fall asleep

to hold them again.

But still,

he keeps returning.

He watches me remember.
