When It Goes Quiet

Build What Can't Be Taken

By VPublished about 15 hours ago • 1 min read

One day the help just fades away,

No warning signs, no time to stay.

Programs stop, the lines grow long,

And suddenly "safe" feels all wrong.

The shelves feel bare, the pressure grows,

A silent fear that no one shows.

Voices rise, confusion spreads,

Heavy thoughts fill restless heads.

It never feels like just a cut,

It hits the mind and locks it shut.

Because when survival starts to shake,

Clear thinking bends, strong choices break.

Fear moves fast, it takes control,

Turns steady hearts into toil.

And in that storm, a pattern shows,

A cycle that the system knows.

When chaos climbs and stress runs deep,

People trade power just to keep

A sense of calm, a bit of ground,

Even if it pulls them down.

That look repeats, again, again,

Dependence dressed as helping hand.

Build them up, then take away,

Then offer crumbs and call it "save."

But pause a moment, look again,

Ask what breaks and what can bend.

If something gone can shake the base,

Then it was never a steady place.

So shift the focus, change the plan,

Learn a skill, build with your hands.

Stack small wins, control your flow,

Create a path that you can own.

Grown your income, learn the game,

Don't rely on one fixed lane.

Because what's built from your own mind,

Is harder for the world to bind.

No panic now, just clear direction,

Less reaction, more protection.

When systems fail or things reset,

What's self-made, stays.
