The 21st century

The web that was worldwide, was a way we unified, with all those who were close, and allowed us to talk to them most.

Social media, became this encyclopedia, where we could post, and would be judged on the most number of likes, followers or views, and this would be the fuse, to ignite out ego, and dress us up in a narcissistic tuxedo.

And when we had queries, or if we were wary, we could just ‘google it’, and the answer it would emit.

A cellphone, to call home, or send, a friend, a text, or to break up with an ex, for whatever the reason, it was a cellphone season.

Steve Job’s apple, grabbed all of us, telling us we must, as if it’s his advice to buy his device, and if we don’t we’ll get lost in time, which was seen to be a crime, that no one would commit, because we didn’t want to risk it, and not be a part of the mainstream.

On the 11th of September, two world trade centers, were obliterated, by an orchestrated, attack so vicious, and flagitious, that nearly 3,000 it killed, which was what Al Qaeda willed.

They hijacked two planes, and reduced the buildings to only remains, leaving crumbs of a loaf of bread, with hundreds and thousands sprinkles of people who were dead.

But that wasn’t all, Bin Laden and his team’s maul, also flew planes into the Pentagon, and crashed into (D.C) Washington.

And years on, Bin Laden was gone.

The world’s most wanted, was hunted, down by U.S. navy seal, Robert O’Neill.

A pivotal moment, was Obama’s bestowment, when he became, the first main, man, of USA, who wasn’t white like JFK.

The first black man to go presidential, was essential, to show that America didn’t disable, different horses from different stables.

She was a category five hurricane, who came, to ruin New Orleans, and to spill the beans, she was the second most costly, mostly, because the city’s poor draining, put it at risk of flooding.

And also, the city sits at the bottom of a bowl which with the floods turned into a swimming hole.

Katrina took the city by the scruff of its neck, and turned to into a massive wreck, where nearly 2,000 people died, because the flood tied, had risen, and the people had been imprisoned, underneath the debris, there was no way to flea, and the water kept rising, meaning there was little chance of surviving.

The financial crisis of 07-08, occurred when the masses exploited the low-interest rate.

By borrowing and borrowing, everyone was following, taking more than they could return, because they were unconcerned, as when and if their investment, did well, in a nutshell, they could pocket more, when they invested galore.

But then, when, housing prices proliferated, it created, homeowners to foreclose, meaning mortgage payments froze, but this wasn’t the concern, because in turn, the bankers took ownership, of the houses, very quick, and it wasn’t long before so many houses were for sale, that with all this supply, demand went stale.

So, if mortgage rates were high on houses that were cheap, it didn’t seem right to be paying off a mortgage that was so steep.

So now the banks own a lot of real estate, which was great, but the properties were as cheap as ever, and the investors would never, invest in such a thing, because profit it’d never bring.
