When Fairies Collide

A Poem

Autumn, the amber winged fairy

drifts through groves in copper lace

her breath a spice of cider mist

her fingers painting leaves with grace

.°❀⋆🍂.ೃ࿔🍂*:・🍂°❀⋆°.

She hums in winds that stir the trees

and scatters acorns where she treads

her laughter rustles through the breeze

and tangles gold in spider threads

.°❀⋆🍂.ೃ࿔🍂*:・🍂°❀⋆°.

She twirls in twilight’s amber hush

with cheeks aglow from apple wine

her gown a patchwork quilt of dusk

Upon her head, a crown of pine

.°❀⋆🍂.ೃ࿔🍂*:・🍂°❀⋆°.

But whispers stir beyond the vale

a hush that chills the marrow deep

When silence tiptoes on the grass

The days of Autumn prepare for sleep

For Winter, pale and silver eyed

emerges from her frozen seam

her voice a hush of crystal bells

her breath a trail of frozen steam

.𖥔 ݁ ˖⋆❄️ ˚❆.𖥔 ݁ ˖⋆ ˚❆𖥔.❄️.𖥔 ݁ ˖⋆.

She wears a cloak of icy lace

Snowflakes fall softly at her feet

each step a hush, a frigid kiss

where Autumn’s warmth and Winter meet

The first frost drapes

a silent veil upon the ground

a shimmer stitched by Winter’s hand

that seals in Fall without a sound

.𖥔 ݁ ˖⋆❄️ ˚❆.𖥔 ݁ ˖⋆ ˚❆𖥔.❄️.𖥔 ݁ ˖⋆.

Autumn sighs, her dance grows slow

her colors dim, her laughter spent

She curtsies low to Winter’s reign

then slips beneath the frost’s lament
