When Cramping Bothers
Let's learn about female hormones, so we can be kind

Not all days of the month are same.
Some days,
I feel as if I could carry a mountain on my head,
and run, without getting tired.
Some days are average.
Few dreaded days,
are when I don’t feel like getting out of the bed.
I just want everyone to leave me alone.
That’s hormone levels in the body vessel,
at peak, medium and depleted, respectively.
Hormones can affect how we feel.
People often make fun of women,
being unpredictable and irritable.
That’s estrogen level fluctuating,
directing her responses.
Today I’m having cramps.
When the uterine muscles keep contracting,
oxygen supply to them can be reduced,
and lactic acid can build up.
Not enough oxygen and more lactic acid,
means, pain.
Winter weather aggravates my cramping.
bloating, acid reflux, gum sensitivity,
lethargy, nausea, headache, back pain,
all come together to torment.
I have my no-medicine ways,
to get relief.
Art, writing, walk, gardening..
yet, I must say,
it makes one feel melancholic.
Get to know some biochemistry of the body,
so, you can be kind to self and women.
If you suffer like me,
try to avoid unnecessary chemicals,
for they can cause hormonales chaos.
Awareness helps to be compassionate,
to help and others.
