When Comfort Zone Shrinks

....

By Harydo NeonPublished about a month ago 1 min read

Sometimes we get self-trapped

Because the future is a gift we aren't ready to unwrap

Sometimes it is unwillinglyness. Some times it is fear

Sometimes it is just inability to understand why someone wants us near

Laying there ,watching the cloud drift by and wondering how it would feel

If you could just let the whole weight go and feel the wind of being free

The lightness of finally letting someone in

The serenity of having your thoughts organised in an orderly mannerism

Do we feel fear because we feel unworthy of what is to come?

Do we feel fear because we have been there before?

Is fear an alarm that shows we are in danger again?

Or is it a sign that the comfort zone is shrinking and cannot be contained?

You deserve happiness, in all its form and glory

A bad day is just a bad page in your story

Caging yourself in to protect yourself is a double edged sword

A luxury that would cost you more than a Tom Ford

Life has been rather peaceful lately since I gave up the wheel

I've learnt to trust my driver now, he has got the skill

I take my L's and plan for the next step

A bad day isn't a bad life, a truth that took me a while to accept
