Whats wrong with me?

When words are weapons and silence is a warzone.

By CJ RainesPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

What’s wrong with me?

Rolling eyes.

Untold truths.

Eyes filled with anger.

Hearts filled with tears.

Words used that cut so deep—

to wounds that you will never see.

The crushing weight

of your cold shoulder.

The silence that booms louder

than any atomic bomb created.

What’s wrong with me?

I’ve asked myself

over and over all of my life.

What’s wrong with me?

You seem to have confirmed

every answer I have ever created.

With that question,

you sealed the door.

You gave me permission

to confirm every possible insecurity.

What’s wrong with me?

Everything.
