delicate and petite
against the field's
rugged flora
little white bells
with bold red throats
little buds that look like
Baby's Breath
alas, we may never see
your lovely clusters
in a wedding bouquet
or a damsel's hair
except for maybe in

beautiful because

Stinkvine
nothing smelly about you
'Chicken Excrement'
undetected
'Flatulent Vine'
no smell there
'Sewer vine'
sadly
your name will keep you
growing wild
for maybe i'm
the only one
who admires you
